About the owner
Tyler Upston has over 20 years experience in the field of landscaping and landscape maintenance. Upston’s Lawn and Garden, LLC started with just a lawn tractor, one blower, one string trimmer and an eager 10 year old wanting to make extra spending money. Tyler continued his lawn and landscaping business through high school and college. Tyler went to Western Michigan University to become an industrial arts teacher, but changed his mind and moved to East Lansing where he attended Michigan State University’s landscape design school extension courses to fulfill his dream and love of working outdoors.
Tyler continued to build his company into what it is today: one of the leading landscape design/maintenance firms in Greater Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan. Tyler takes pride in every job that is done, making sure every aspect of the job is done right and to the highest standards. His attention to detail is what sets him apart from the rest.
